RAJENDER AGARWAL, MD MPH MBA

Founder & Executive Director

Raj has broad expertise in systematic reviews, meta-analysis and clinical guideline development. He previously worked at University of Pennsylvania's Center for Evidence-based Practice where he was the primary analyst on more than 35 health technology assessments. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed articles including two CDC guidelines. He was part of a core working group that helped the CDC redefine their guideline development methodology. Raj grew up and completed his medical school in India. He received a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, a Master of Business Administration from Kelley School of Business and finished a residency in internal medicine from Cook County Hospital in Chicago. He has a Green Belt Certification in Lean Six Sigma. He maintains an active clinical practice as a hospitalist. 

ASHUTOSH GUPTA, MD

Associate Director

Ashutosh has extensive experience in systematic reviews and meta-analysis and has published on a wide variety of healthcare issues. He completed his medical school in India and finished a residency in internal medicine and fellowship in gastroenterology from Cook County Hospital in Chicago. He is a practicing gastroenterologist at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, TX. He is a member of the Quality Initiative Team at the hospital and works diligently to track evidence-based measures of health. He is a part of the Physician Advisory Council and has played a pivotal role in the development of the new EMR system at Medical Center Hospital. 

SHWETA GUPTA, MD MBA FACP

Director of Process Improvement

Shweta has extensive experience in patient flow management and process improvement. She serves as Chair of the Patient Flow Steering Council, Co-Chair of the Department of Medicine Quality Council, and Co-Chair of the Avoidable Admissions Reduction Taskforce at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. She has an IHI certification in patient safety and quality and has led several process improvement projects. She completed her medical education in India and fellowship in hematology & oncology at Cook County Hospital, where she currently practices as a medical oncologist. She is completed an MBA from Indiana University Kelley School of Business and has a Green Belt Certification in Lean Six Sigma.
